Jonathan Jarrell is a corporate and securities attorney representing businesses and their owners in a wide variety of matters, including regulatory compliance, protection of confidential information and other business interests, securities and finance, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and review, and other general corporate matters.
He has significant experience in the life settlement market, counseling and representing clients in regulatory compliance issues and transactional matters, as well as related legislative affairs.
Jonathan’s representation philosophy is rooted in the idea that each client has expertise in his or her particular situation. Having worked as in-house and outside counsel, he understands the importance of developing a clear vision of his client’s goals and challenges and maintaining an open dialogue throughout representation to provide results-oriented counsel and develop creative and effective solutions for his clients.
Jonathan graduated magna cum laude from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2009. He also served on the Mercer Law Review, was elected to the Brainerd Currie Honor Society, and earned a certificate in advanced legal writing, research, and drafting. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University in 2000. Before joining Thrasher Worth, Jonathan served as in-house counsel for a national life settlement company. Prior to attending law school, he gained significant business and accounting experience through his six years in the internal audit department of an Atlanta-based Fortune 1000 retailer.
