Katy Aultman is a litigation associate with experience handling a broad range of issues in both Federal and states courts, including employment litigation, whistleblower rights, qui tam litigation, contract disputes, securities litigation, and general business litigation.
Katy received her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2010. She also received the honors of Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. While attending Wake Forest, Katy served as the Development Editor for the Intellectual Property Law Journal and was an active member of the Moot Court Board, participating in various competitions including the 2010 National Moot Court competition where her team advanced to the final rounds in New York.
Katy received a Bachelor of Science of International Affairs, with highest honors, and a minor in Economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001. While at Georgia Tech, Katy was a Georgia Tech President’s Scholar, a National Merit Scholar, a National Beta Scholar, and a Georgia Governor’s Scholar. She participated in the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, Sigma Iota Ro International Relations Honor Society, and Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society in Economics.
Before joining Thrasher Worth, Katy served for three years as a Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Prior to attending law school, Katy worked as a human resources professional for both The Coca-Cola Company and Honda designing and administering compensation and performance management programs.
Katy is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the North Carolina State Bar.
